With the ongoing investigations against rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in connection to his September arrest over sex trafficking charges, several Hollywood A-listers have been also dragged into the controversy with their alleged past connections with the rapper. Among them was actor Will Smith, who became a target of social media memes and funny jokes, connecting him to Diddy’s freak-off parties, with many claiming that he attended a few of them. In a fierce response to shut down the claims and the ongoing jokes, the Bad Boys actor has finally taken the opportunity to clear the air about his relationship with Combs.

During his performance at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, California on December 12, Smith addressed the ongoing claims including his involvement in the freak-off parties. Referring to the rapper’s stage name as ‘Puffy,’ Will Smith explained that he has nothing to do with any of the ongoing allegations about the parties.

“The world we’re in right now is really hard for you all to discern what’s real and what’s true. I’ve been seeing the memes and stuff. Some of the stuff is funny. I haven’t addressed any of this publicly but I want to say this very clearly. I don’t have shit to do with Puffy, so you all can stop all the memes. Stop all of that bullshit," he said in a lighthearted manner, as per TMZ, after pausing his performance mid-way.

Later in the address, Smith also explained that he was never involved with Diddy’s parties and that he already had a lot on his plate to deal with. “I ain’t been anywhere near any freak-off. I do have enough of my own things. Don’t put me into other people’s things. I have been nowhere near that man or any of his stupid shit things. So whatever you all are hearing, it’s a lie. I don’t even like baby oil," he added while making a snide remark about the baby oil bottles that were seized from Combs’ residence.

Smith even expressed how the memes left him mad, prompting a reaction in the middle of his performance.
